Valumart is a promotionally driven discount retailer of predominantly general merchandise and non-perishable groceries for home, leisure and business use.

At Valumart, we put our customers first with our three guarantees:

1. We beat any price!
We will not be undersold! - If you've purchased any item from Valumart and, within 21 days, find the identical product at a competitor for less, tell us and we will refund MORE than the difference.

If you intend purchasing from Valumart and find the identical item at a competitor for less at the same time, tell us and we will BEAT that price.

2. We'll swop it, if we stock it
If you've changed your mind - bring it back in an unused condition, in the original packaging, and we will either exchange it or refund you. Exceptions are indicated accordingly at point-of-purchase.

3. Guaranteed service on every product sold
We will have any item under manufacturer's warranty repaired for you - should that take longer than 21 days, the item will be replaced or refunded. For warranty purposes, proof of purchase is required. We also ensure ongoing service on any product bought from Valumart even after the warranty expires.

We will not be undersold!
If you've purchased any item from Valumart and within 21 days find the identical product
at a competitor for less (either in-store or for online purchases), bring us the competitor leaflet valid at time of price-beat request (it must valid on the same day of the request) and we will refund you 5% on the difference.

Please follow these steps for a price you find cheaper on a product you bought on the Valumart website:

Email the link of the item or a screenshot of the item to service@Valumart.co.tz
Quote the order number and price you bought it from at from Valumart

These are applicable to items that were bought online from Valumart within 21 days of purchase (after-sales only, not pre-purchase)

You will get a refund that is the difference you paid, plus 5% on that difference
You can also bring us proof of a cheaper product that is currently on an ecommerce site to any of our stores and we will refund you 5% on the difference.

But first, please read our fine print.

The Price Beat does not apply to:
Online purchases based outside of Tanzania (such as eBay, Amazon, Wish and so on)
Deals you see on other pure classified, or auction websites based outside of Tanzania

Store closures
Existing discounts – such as student discounts, pensioner’s discounts or Vaccination discounts
Online clearance sales

Online pre-orders
Bundle deals (this includes for any loyalty programme bundle deals)

Cellular contracts
The Price Beat does not apply to stock that is:

Used for in-store displays
Is aged
Discontinued stock
Refurbished / second hand
Damaged

For in-store price beats please take note:
The competitor’s price must be valid at the time at the time of purchase at Valumart or on the date of the price-beat request at Valumart.

The competitor must be a legitimate Tanzanian retailer, and the price beat must be on the cost of the product only (not including delivery).

The competitor in question must be in-stock of that identical product at the time of the price beat.

The products up for comparison must be the identical products, brand, barcode, and volume/weight.

The price beat does not apply to stores based outside Tanzania including non-Tanzanian based online stores.

The retailer deemed to be a competitor needs to be a valid VAT registered retailer - accredited by our suppliers as a reseller of their goods and brands that are in question.

The warranty period of the product in question must be identical to that of the competitor product.

For online price beats please take note:
The competitor’s price must be valid within 21 days of the date the Valumart purchase was processed.

The competitor must be a legitimate Tanzanian retailer, and the price beat must be on the cost of the product only (not including delivery).

The competitor in question must be in-stock of that identical product at the time of the price beat.

The products up for comparison must be the identical products, brand, barcode, and volume/weight.

The price beat does not apply to stores based outside Tanzania including non-Tanzanian based online stores.

The retailer deemed to be a Competitor needs to be a valid VAT registered retailer - accredited by our suppliers as a reseller of their goods and brands that are in question.

The warranty period of the product in question must be identical to that of the competitor product.

A link or screenshot of the item must be sent to service@Valumart.co.tz on the same day as the customer wants to redeem a price beat at Valumart.

This is for after-sales items only.
Online price beats are not redeemable on pre-purchases, only on purchases made.
